Butterfly Sorrows

Of butterfly sorrows and tearful lies,
We shan't speak of the arson of the heart,
No, you won't say the word love again.
It is poison, I tell you,
No good will come of it,
No, love is not a word to be spoken
Ever again.

This broken heart needs mending,
No more love, don't blind me,
No more empty promises, ever,
Loveless I shall become,
For love lost is not worth it.

Of butterfly sorrows and fearful sighs,
No more of this where mice rule over lions,
Where irrational love rules over reason.
It is insane, I tell you,
They were wrong to say it,
No, to have loved and lost and broken,
Never again.

This broken heart needs mending,
No more love, don't blind me,
No more empty promises, ever,
Loveless I shall become,
For love lost is not worth it.

Don't worry. Hahaha. Though I wrote this, I'm not jaded with the concept of love. It's just something that just came out of my head. I quite like it. What do you think?
